Classes are intended for ages 6 and up, unless stated otherwise in the class description.

Snacks and water will be made available to Makers during any class lasting 3 hours or more.
If your Maker requires specific dietary needs or has any food allergies, please contact us directly.

Class sizes are LIMITED from 8-15 students, depending on the class.

Camp projects listed below are subject to change.

Mini Maker Classes
Single Session Classes, Every Friday from June 6 to August 8
For Makers Aged 2-5
$25 per Session
Mini Makers will learn about shapes, colors, and other beginning art concepts while building fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and more! Projects each week will be loosely based on themes being studied by older classes. Makers may explore painting, drawing, clay, papier mache, or a variety of other art-making processes. Enjoy artful play and big messes for little Makers, and no cleanup for you!

Registering for both the morning and afternoon sessions? Yes, we do allow Makers to stay during the lunch break hour for a small fee of $20/maker or $15/per sibling enrolled in the same camps. The hour between morning and afternoon camps is a critical time for our instructors to clean up, reset, and catch a breath before the day’s second art-splosion, but we can offer a safe and enjoyable midday break time in the studio for the kiddos who are attending both camps on any given day. A lunch box can be sent in the morning to camp, access to a fridge and microwave is available.

Calling all dog lovers! In this camp we’ll celebrate Dogs in art history with Roman Dog Paper Mosaics, collage dog portraits inspired by John Golden, and Keith Haring Doodle Dog drawings!

Upcycled Sculpture
3-Day Camp
Monday June 30-Wednesday July 2

Makers will create assemblage sculptures using found and upcycled materials such as broken toys, appliance parts, wire, wood scraps, and more. Makers will learn about safe work practices and personal protective equipment while making 3D forms using assembly techniques such as wrapping, tying, fastening, and gluing.

Frida Kahlo and the Art of Mexico
4-Day Camp

Celebrate the life and art of Frida Kahlo and her home in this four-day camp, which begins the day after her birthday! We'll create self-portraits, symbolic still lifes, and learn about folk art traditions of Mexico!​​​​

Zine Club
2-Day Camp

Recommended for Makers aged 8+
Zines (pronounced "zeens") are self-published magazines using low-tech printing methods. Usually made for sharing or selling cheaply, zines have a long history and can include art, stories, poetry, games and puzzles, and more! Makers in this camp will use typewriters, label makers, drawing, thermal printers, and collage to create content and organize the newest issue of Miss Megan's Make-a-Zine! Each Maker will receive copies of the completed zine upon printing.

The Late 1900s
4-Day Camp

Oh snap! We’ll explore the art and pop culture of the last two decades of the 20th Century–the 1980s and 1990s! We’ll design and paint our own Care Bear Canvases, be inspired by the colorful world of Lisa Frank, get messy like Jean-Michel Basquiat and more in this color camp!

Learn about the great masters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo in our first Renaissance Camp. We'll paint laying on our backs, create ourselves as the Mona Lisa, learn about marble sculpture and more!

Put a Bird On It!

Inspired by our very own studio mascots, Kiwi and Marshmallow (pictured) and Hulu and Ume, Makers will create all things avian in this new camp! We'll create Charley Harper inspired illustrations, parakeet mobiles, Picasso-style doves and more!

Analog Animation

Learn the analog basics and history of how makers and artists have made images appear to move using flipbooks, zoetropes, and other pre-film techniques during this new camp! Makers will also learn about making stop-motion animations using the Stop Motion Studio app!

Explore art history through the eyes of famous cat-owning artists! We’ll create a Giacometti inspired sculpture, a pastel drawing inspired by Paul Klee, and paintings inspired by Maud Lewis!

Makers will explore the world of the subconscious like the Surrealists, learn folklore about who is in the moon and how they got there, create their own constellation shadowboxes and more in this new camp!

Makers will learn some of the fundamental concepts of photography, including composition and how photography works, in our first ever photography camp. This camp included using the sun to make a photograph (cyanotypes), camera obscura, and more!

Makers will be inspired by the color and beauty of flowers in this fabulous new camp! We'll learn about the Dutch Tulip Mania and illustrations of the 1600s, be inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe, create our own 3D paper blossoms and more!

Body Art

In this adventurous new camp, Makers will look at the history of adding adornments to themselves, including traditional henna designs, the history of American tattoo styles, and even face painting! Makers will illustrate their own themed flash sheets, practice face painting techniques on themselves and others, and more!

Fashion Forward

Recommended For Makers Aged 8+
Makers will learn to draw fashion designs, make accessories, and even decorate a denim jacket with patches, trims, paint and more in this special class. Denim jacket and all materials included, desired jacket size must be included in registration form. ​
